Want to buy a car?
I'm preparing to get myself a new car. Hurray!

My car is worth virtually nothing as a trade, but I thought I should offer it up to you, gentle reader, before letting it go.

It's a 1993 Mitsubishi Mirage S Coupe. It needs inspection in July. It runs pretty well, but the clutch is probably going to need to be serviced sooner or later. I replaced brakes and some tires last summer. It's got about 130,000 miles on it.

$300 takes it home, but let me know if you're interested before Monday evening.

Pictures coming soon.

a) SERIOUSLY tempting. I need a car. But I've driven a stick Mirage and I'm pretty sure I can't reach the clutch in one anymore.

b) I can't beleive you said, "needs inspection," although it's far better than if you said, "needs inspected."

Bummer. I thought about getting an automatic for my next car but the fuel economy is better with a stick, and I just like driving them better. Reselling with automatic transmission is definitely easier. I should also mention, as full disclosure, that this car has no a/c or rear defroster either.

Inspection is a noun, hence a legitimate object of need without grammatical assistance. I am a fan of auxiliary verbs n'at.

Buy me a plane ticket home and pay for gas and I'll drive the car to Boston and give it to you. Not kidding.
